Controversy has erupted, after scientists at the Crown Research Institute AgResearch bred a cow that produces high protein milk that may be hypo-allergenic.

Scientists are hopeful that the development will lead eventually to the production of milk that can be consumed by many of the children currently allergic to cow’s milk. OH THE CHILDREN! NOT THE CHILDREN!

The breakthrough came after a team of scientists at AgResearch sought to produce milk which contained less of the protein beta-lactoglobulin (BLG). BLG is known to be allergenic, and many of the infants allergic to cow’s milk have a BLG intolerance. SCIENTISTS PLAYING GOD! THIS IS DR MENGELE ALL OVER AGAIN! DON’T WE EVER LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKES?

Their experiments led to the breeding of Daisy, a genetically engineered female calf. HERE WE GO AGAIN. THOSE ANTI-SCIENCE CRACKPOTS ARE WORSE THAN THE CLIENT CHANGE CRANKS.

But the development has led to controversy after BUT THIS IS AGAINST NATURE!  WHAT SORT OF MONSTER MIGHT WE UNLEASH UPON THE WORLD? DANGER! DANGER!

However, scientists THE PROBLEM IS YOU NUTJOBS DON’T HAVE THE FAINTEST IDEA WHAT YOU’RE TALKING ABOUT!  WHAT WE ARE DOING IS PERFECTLY SAFE.

A number of groups opposed to generic engineering have THIS IS A FRIGHTENING DEVELOPMENT THAT WILL LEAD TO THE DESTRUCTION OF OUR REPUTATION AS A NATION FOR BEING CLEAN AND GREEN!

But scientists have OH FOR GOD’S SAKE!  WHY SHOULD WE LISTEN TO ANYONE WHO DOESN’T HAVE A PHD?

Figures released from the Sustainability Council SLIPPERY SLOPE! FIRST THEY CAME FOR THE SHEEP, THEN THEY CAME FOR THE COWS, AND SOON WE’LL BE BREEDING TWO-HEADED CHILDREN! WE NEED AN URGENT PUBLIC DEBATE ON THIS ISSUE!
