I’m delighted to learn that my old friend Cameron Slater (he and and I are best mates: just ask Bomber Bradbury if you don’t believe me) has been appointed as editor of The TruthinessTruth.
It’s not quite as prestigious as being made chief editor of The New Zealand Herald, but it’s a first step.
If anyone can make a success of a publication that specialises in undie sniffing and big titties, it has to be Slater.
With Slater’s good friend Cathy Odgers being appointed part-time assistant editor at Landfall, it seems the New Zealand media landscape is being increasingly dominated by political bloggers.
But I’m okay with that, so long as I get the Woman’s Weekly.
