Duncan Garner caused much excitement last night after he told his Twitter followers that a letter demanding David Shearer’s resignation was circulating around the caucus.
He went on to tweet to his followers the stunning news that Patrick Gower would be presenting the letter during TV3’s late night news show, Nightline.
No such letter seems to exist, and Patrick Gower appears to have known nothing about his proposed appearance on Nightline. But put aside for a moment the lack of any evidence of a move against David Shearer. Isn’t the fact that everyone is denying it proof enough? If it wasn’t happening there would be nothing to deny.
